VIDEO MARKETING ACADEMY

While at Brightcove, I created and launched the Video Marketing Academy as an industry resource for learning how to make video marketing more effective and drive real business results. I oversaw all branding and site design. I created the content strategy and was the creative director, executive producer, script writer, and on-camera video host for many of the videos on Video Marketing Academy.


WHAT'S THE HOTTEST THING IN CONTENT MARKETING? - THIS CAMPAIGN! 

As a last minute push to gain more visibility as a sponsor at Content Marketing World, the largest content marketing event, I created Brightcove's most successful influencer marketing campaign. 

Over the course of 1 week I coordinated with the top leaders in content marketing, oversaw production for 50 thought-leadership videos, created an event video Gallery, and coordinated the promotion of the Gallery site as the closing presentation at Content Marketing World.

This campaign received more social media exposure than any other Brightcove campaign to date.

I created and hosted an online video series called Get Reel with Renee. The show was a thought-leadership series about online video. I interviewed executives from companies such as LinkedIn, Oracle, Cisco, Symantec, Facebook, Content Marketing Institute and other Fortune 500 companies as well as startup founders.

Video is one of the most powerful communication mediums. At the heart of video is storytelling, by combining audio and visual elements, video allows you to share stories in a way like no other medium can. Video enables you to tell and show your story in a unique way that can resonate with your audience and inspire them, educate them, question them to think differently, or simply entertain them. 

But… video can also be incredibly expensive and one of the most complicated mediums. One of the biggest mistakes companies make today is using video in isolation, as an individual campaign. I worked with a number of thought-leaders in video marketing to create courses that provide incredibly valuable information on how  to effectively use video in your integrated marketing campaigns. I created the content strategy and was the creative director, executive producer, script writer, and project manager for the video marketing courses.
